Role Overview
1. Accountability for all AfME BAI services including partnering with the AfME leadership to understand business needs, frame issues and interface with BAI COE to ensure execution and delivery of reports or insights.
2. Lead the AfME BAI team to deliver goals and strategies and develop new BAI expertise in the region.
Role Definition, Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
*Partners with LT to develop analytical plans and solutions
*Leads the strategic insights for the AfME OP plan process
*Leads analytic/insight discussions to help AfME RP and LT determine optimal resource allocation for the region
*Integrates local country knowledge to develop regional plan
*Serve as SME in support of AfME GCO Leads
*Bring functional expertise to enable business objectives
*Coordinate across AfME GCO groups and AfME CMO BAI
*Leverage COE resources and techniques
*Ensure BAI processes deliver quality control
*Develop technical expertise within the AfME BAI team
*Lead the AfME BAI team to:
*Provide, define and coordinate analytics
*Define and ensure metrics consistency
*Assess new business opportunities and ad hoc reporting
*Enable prioritization process and resource management of BAI delivery resources to ensure timely deliverables
*Enable knowledge management / consistency
*Ensure BAI outputs are supporting and enabling GCO activities within AfME
*Manage country / regional BAI vendors and agreements in partnership with Procurement and the BAI CoE
*Reports to AfME GCO Lead.

*Working knowledge of all aspects of BAI including data analytics, PMR and knowledge management
*Ability to identify trends in analytics and provide proactive input to business decisions
*Ability to appropriately prioritize workload; push back on business leadership and allocate resources
*Strong project management skills, ability to respond to tight timelines
*Ability to interact with all levels of the organization including executive leadership
*Significant people leadership competency; including teams across multiple geographies
*Ability to integrate strategy, analytics and operations to create execution plans
*Ability to develop new methodologies and new information sources when required
*Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical information (physician-level prescribing, institutional sales, payer-prescriber-level, formulary, patient-level data, etc.).

Skills & Experience
*Bachelors degree required, Masters in analytic discipline (e.g., Management Science), preferred
*8-10 years BAI direct leadership experience
*Experience working in and leading matrixed teams
*Experience with budget and resource allocation management
*At least 10 years experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
*Thorough understanding of Pharmaceutical marketing and sales processes including the development of the op plan
*Experience in pharma forecasting required
