About the job:
Job Objective:
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Oman to provide Analytical / commercial / Information support to BUFM and Divisions to contribute to performance review / Operational decision making and improvement plans in meeting the company Profitability & financial objectives.
The job entails analytical and information support to business units in achieving the Financial and profitability objectives. The job holder coordinates with the BUFM, Divisional and retail teams in delivering the above objectives. The jobholder will liaise and support OMASCO finance team on continuous basis in interpreting the financial records and management information system.
The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
* Annual plans and Rolling Forecast
* Support BUFM in the preparation of Annual plans and Periodical reviews.
* MIS and Management reporting:
(a) Preparation of daily, monthly management reports and reports for management board.
(b) Prepare Divisional and Retail KPI and composites
(c) Support BUFM in Divisional Performance Review and Variance analysis
* Co-ordinate and support OMASCO finance team in GL review and accounting related issues.
* Working Capital and Cash flow
(a) Assist BUFM in Inventory and Order planning by analysing historical data and validating underlying assumptions
(b) Review and Monitor Divisional / Branch level overdue and follow-up with the Divisional team for corrective actions.
* Commercial Support:
(a) Provide analytical support to BUFM in evaluating Divisional inbound and outbound pricing strategies.
(b) Support review of procurement process / analysis and control
* To assist BUFM in Capex and Project evaluation and recommendation and prepare feasibility reports.
* System and process Development
(a) Assists BUFM / OMASCO finance team and business in system and process development for new initiatives and existing process improvements.
(b) Develop and Design Information Queries in SAP to support Business team.
