National Parts Manager - reports to the National After Sales Manager - and his role is to provide management cover and support for the reporting locations to create a Customer centric Parts department driven by highly engaged parts staff that provides a satisfactory return on the capital and human resources invested and also enables the department to achieve repeat sales. He should implement the dealer standards laid down by the Principles at the directly reporting branches and be a market leader in the region. To be seen as a highly motivated leader with strong people focus and exceptional interpersonal skills that will help to bring synergies in the inert departments and leverage their strengths for business objectives. This role has following direct responsibilities:
* To provide inputs for annual parts budget by taking into account the units in operation, future units sale, past performance to ensure that the company's objective of growth is in line with the Market conditions.
* To achieve and exceed the budgeted target on Net sales, Gross Margins and Net profit by maximizing the revenue streams and optimizing key Parts KPI's. Provide analysis and insights that enable effective and achievable budgets.
* To develop, implement and improve the parts process in all locations by matching availability to demand and train the staff to give our customers the best retail experience.
* To prepare and obtain agreement from manufacturer (Principal's) annual business plans and develops strategies to achieve them.
* To develop and implement different marketing activities to ensure business objectives are met & establish pricing policy so as to be competitive in the market and achieve business plan targets.
* To develop and implement systems for motivating the team members to increase their engagement levels through training & development, regular meetings and defining career path for highly engaged workforce and ensure tactical and strategic plans are in place that rewards and supports good performance and nurtures development & retention.
* To develop a manpower plan to achieve the financial objectives and implement it by recruiting and developing staff by monitoring and reviewing individual performances.
* To assess and recommend the facility, manpower and other requirements in anticipation of the future business requirement for all locations.
* To maximize the return on Inventory by keeping optimum stocks without affecting availability & maintain lost Sales report, service Ratio report, stock turn over & monthly stock reports.
* To maintain Monthly P&L Reports, CSI Reports, JAMA reports, Service ratio reports etc.
* To ensure the inventory management tool (Syncron) and ERP (SAP) system is continuously developed and fine tuned to meet the changing business needs.
* To make sure all company policies and procedures are followed by all staff and maintain all facilities as per Manufacturer's CI / Al Futtaim standards and conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance.
* To liaise with government authorities and ensure compliance of government rules and regulations. Meet government authorities as and when required.
About the Person:
* Excellent knowledge of automotive dealer/distributor business processes.
* Working knowledge of Inventory Management, Logistics and supply chain Management, ERP SAP & MS Office skills.
* Excellent communication skills, Leadership skills, People focus and Excellent Customer handling skills.
* Strong analytical, administrative competence and business reports presentation is critical for this job.
* Maintain confidentiality, be strategic and analytical, honest and responsible, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity, be flexible and demonstrate sound work ethics.
