This covers Business Application Management, Infrastructure & Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Service Management, Information Security, IT Procurement and IT Governance. EIT also manages and innovates the entire life-cycles of a SAP ERP system for amongst others Automotive, Retail, Real Estate and Financial Services including development, selective outsourcing and application management. The Group Infrastructure includes data centers hosting state of the art servers & storage, converged networks, workplace, services and security systems.
About the role:
Set up and Administer IBM WebSphere Commerce Stores
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage IBM WCS configuration and other business process related activities including:
* Setup multiple stores on WCS including the back-end integration with LDAP and DB2 for multiple organization structures (OU-s)
* Manage organizations, groups, users and roles
* Configure store features such as store flow, store style, email activity, marketing and promotions.
* Configure scheduler jobs to support store features.
* Create and configure message types and transport methods.
* Build, package, deploy and verify custom assets
* Enable and configure Social Commerce, Mobile Commerce, and Gift Registry
* Configure payment plug-ins and payment rules.
Maintain and Monitor IBM WebSphere Commerce
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage all aspect of the business mapping and blueprinting process including:
* Install fixes, fix packs and feature packs.
* Describe the logging services and identify the logs available in WebSphere Commerce.
* Use of database clean-up utility.
* Configure scheduler jobs for site-level activities.
* Backup resources for disaster recovery.
* Set up and control WebSphere Commerce site security
Performance Tuning, Support and Troubleshooting
* Apply JVM settings for WebSphere Commerce sites and WebSphere Application Server optimization techniques
* Configure Dynamic caching and use the Cache Monitor tool to administer it.
* Monitor performance using WebSphere Commerce Performance Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI) module.
* Perform clustering for high availability and load-balancing.
* Perform troubleshooting of WebSphere Commerce and its software components
* Troubleshoot issues in WCS using
Continuous Improvement
* Work with other functional teams within IT and the Business to identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in the implementation of those agreed
* Maintain and enhance IBM WCS Environment skills and knowledge.
* Identify and recommend new technologies to management, as well as detail potential applications and implications for the business.
* Expected to provide positive influence to junior members of the IBM WCS team and be capable of advising on additional process improvement opportunities.
