Head of E-commerce Systems (X-cite by Alghanim Electronics) - Alghanim Industries Oct 13th 2013, 05:10 We are currently looking for a Head of E-commerce Systems to set up and manage an E-commerce and digital delivery centre of excellence. The Head of E-commerce Systems will own and manage the delivery of all E-commerce solutions from the design phase, through to delivery and implementation within the organisation. • Lead all E-commerce development on the company's retail website and mobile platforms: strategic planning, design technological solutions for business initiatives. • Responsible for the E-commerce and architecture: manage the technology interface and integration aspects of multiple solutions (specifically web ordering, mobile applications, new technology architecture for multichannel capability). • Lead the E-commerce IT delivery process to ensure projects and developments are delivered on time, on budget and to the high standards expected by Alghanim Industries: project leadership, quality control, cross-functional leadership. • Source, own and manage the relationships with all E-commerce vendors both on and offshore: negotiate and drive approval process for contracts or statements of work, manage vendors to resolve issues and implement new technologies, manage vendors to T&M and or fixed price contracts. • Work with the E-commerce General Manager and the Retail IT Director to develop an IT strategy to support the E-commerce business plan; • Manage day to day requests, other assignments and projects in support of the business; • Represent E-commerce IT interests across the wider retail function and Alghanim business; •Management and career development of the ecommerce technical and project delivery teams.
