AN OILFIELD SERVICES COMPANY REQUIRES THE BELOW POSITION FOR IMMEDIATE RECRUITMENT FOR A JOINT OPERATION PROJECT IN WAFRA
The Safety Officer shall perform a highly proactive role and be an initiator and enabler of the required solutions as opposed to performing an audit-type role.
• Evaluates hazardous conditions in the workplace and implements training and safety strategies to eliminate dangers.
•Works with department heads and supervisors to understand safety standards
Evaluates accident statistics and makes recommendations to management that will correct safety issues and problems.
•The Safety Officer is the contact person for government agencies dealing with safety and health issues.
•Schedules inspections of departments to ensure that safety procedures are followed by all employees. This includes the proper use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and respirators in work environments that require its use.
• Assistance in implementing reporting / inspection procedures.
• Regular inspection on site for possible danger or safety precaution.
• Provides all construction safety training to qualified levels and competent person designation where necessary.
• Develops and implements construction safety and health standards, criteria and guidelines.
