JOB ROLE:
Responsible for the strategic development of supply chain processes and systems by delivering cost-effective business process improvements, controlling inventory budgets, overseeing demand planning and maintaining relationship with suppliers for optimal purchasing terms and conditions.
DUTIES SUMMARY:
- Develops the Supply Chain's strategy in alignment with the company's overall strategy.
- Develops policies and procedures for the division in collaboration with the Organizational Development department.
- Develops a negotiation strategy that delivers against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers.
- Reviews and ensures best practice in inventory management in order to enhance stock management techniques by upgrading planning system and forecasting methods and tools.
- Manages and measures overall maintenance performance and suggests enhancement plans.
- Plans and implements export strategy and activities to remain consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organization.
- Analyzes Food and Beverages industry trends and evolving Food production tools technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities.
- Evaluates supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models.
- Issues reports to Managing Director on the status of the franchisee and detects opportunities of improvement with recommendations to enhance the sales and optimize costs.
- Develops, trains, and contributes to continuously improving the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the Supply Chain team members ensuring that they are qualified and competent, properly coached, in order to handle the demands of their jobs and achieve their objectives.
- Develops the Supply Chain division budget, and oversees the financial performance through review of periodic financial statements and reports.
