-Deal with all HR issues concerning apprentices.
-Liaise with the main office HR department regarding apprentices' individual requests such as payroll or insurance.
-Follows up apprentices' attendance issue: recovering absence authorization from apprentices, filling the Attendance weekly report and issuing memos and warning letters.
-Maintain and update apprentices' personal file.
-Provide an efficient and effective HR Administration service including the updating and maintaining of key records, documentation and databases in a timely manner.
-May be required to supervise other technical or administrative staff where applicable
-Assist with the capturing and analysis of technical and administrative training data and produce technical reports and presentations.
-Generate standard reports from systems as well as producing more complex or ad hoc reports.
-Check accuracy of data produced.
-Makes recommendations to the Department Head on improving level of efficiency.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
The position will have to be handled within the framework of a new organisation set up for the Academy project. Some issues or daily tasks will require working closely to the existing organisation.

Works according to well defined procedures and clerical standards. Work is closely checked.

Assuring himself of the safety of his work site before commencing work
Taking the necessary measures to avert immediate threat of danger
Exercising such caution as is necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations or to avoid pollution
Using tools, equipment and their safeguards correctly
Using the provided means of personal protection correctly
Leaving the workplace behind correct and orderly upon job/shift completion
Reporting any anomaly, abnormal conditions and near miss to his supervisor
Participating actively in HSE meetings, safety talks, tool boxes, training sessions and drills
Co-operating actively in the execution of the HSE plans.
Authority
Suspending activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor.
