1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Organizes monitors & measures sales force activity. Implements and executes sales strategy to achieve growth sales plan. Coaches sales teams to achieve planned performance in all areas of measurement. ASM Incentives are 100% based on team results.
2. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Area Sales Manager reports to the Province Manager, with functional responsibility and reporting to the Country Business Development Manager.
Direct Reports include field sales executives, telesales executives and sales coordinators assigned to a certain area or province.
3. PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT
The ASM is evaluated on the following criteria:
(a)Achievement of Sales Plan Revenue Goals.
(b)Achievement of the KPI's required to meet the company planned goals in all areas of measurement.
(c)Interaction with other business units to penetrate and convert common targeted accounts.
(d)Selection, training, coaching and development of all sales resources in team.
