Builds and executes an effective Marketing Communications plan (incl PR) to support our Drive Brands (in alliance with the Brand Manager) - ensuring maximum consumer awareness & brand recall
Provides overall editorial control ensuring appropriate content, tone etc
Advises the marketing team on the most effective & emerging techniques to stimulate shopper/consumer awareness, brand reappraisal, trial and repeat purchase to enable Mezzan to build 'Local Power Brands' of the future
Acts as a public face for Mezzan in communicating with the local commuity, media etc.
Proactively manages media relations & media coverage to strengthen the reputation of Mezzan and improve brand awareness nationally. Monitors and reports on coverage received versus competitors
Works with the Market Activation & Merchandising Manager to ensure alignment of marketing message across in store media/ pos materials
Builds Mezzan as a 'parent brand' and develops design principles/guidelines for all brand families across Mezzan
Develops a social media and PR plan to ensue that we initiate and maintain regular dialogue with our consumer groups
Develops & delivers an Events Plan (working closely to support the Brand Managers Drive plan objectives) to drive consumer awareness of our brands by using 'on the ground' marketing techniques (guerilla marketing)
Works with external agencies to deliver the full Communications plan in the field
