Mechanic (X4) | Qatar Aviation Services | Doha - Qatar Airways Jan 30th 2013, 10:00 About Your Job: You will be responsible to perform mechanical repairs on vehicles and equipment as directed by the Senior Mechanic or Workshop Supervisor and will be accountable for complete preventing maintenance services whilst keeping the workshop hazard free. About You: Must have secondary level education and college qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering or similar discipline. A minimum of two years work experience in troubleshooting, repairing, servicing and overhauling engines such as Deutz, Cummins and Detroit Diesel. Knowledge of automatic transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics and commercial vehicle systems also required, with familiarity to use technical manuals and schematics. Experience of Mercedes Trucks an advantage but not essential.
