Plant Protection Officer - Qatar National Broadband Network Jan 9th 2013, 17:06 Division: Operations Department: Network Operations & Maintenance Reports to: Outside Plant Maintenance Supervisor Job Summary • Responsible for securing all equipment and spare materials on site and inspected and reporting damages to the fibre cables. Main Responsibilities • Ensure that all work and maintenance sites are well secured within the required standards. • Ensure all equipment and spare materials are well protected and secured while on site. • Conduct site visits for faulty/damaged cables and determine the case of damage. • Prepare any related paper work for faulty/damaged cables and report any malicious activities to the appropriate Qatari authorities. • Monitor the activities of vendors to ensure adherence to all SLAs. • Practice duties and roles in line with the authorities as illustrated in the authority matrix. • This covers the key responsibilities to be performed, but is not all inclusive. It doesn't preclude other responsibilities from being assigned and undertaken.
