Scope of the Job:
Plans, develops, and manages the Organizational Capability Strategic direction of the Company; ensures the alignment of talent management and development between SAC and Joint Operations. Serves as a key contact person for OC projects and technical issues; networks with other OC Managers to leverage training interventions available with Chevron, and collects and share information and best practices to further improve business processes. Provides support and expertise to Human Resources for accurate talent sourcing; assists technical teams in identifying and developing staffing needs for the Business Unit. Identifies appropriate business solutions to manage workforce data essential in driving long-term plans and enabling decision processes. Identifies technical expertise required at various stages of Organizational Capability processes; provides input and support to the OC Planning Manager to successfully implement plans and programs geared at aligning talent and capability. Responsible for going through contracts and vendor choices; recommends the best contracts based on selection criteria, cost, knowledge transfer, and maximization of resources
