Supply Chain Management in post conflict areas We offer a wide range of responsibilities and challenges where you will have every opportunity to make a difference and put your personal mark on the daily operation in Afghanistan. You will be reporting to the SCM General Manager and you will be responsible for ensuring that resources such as manpower, materials, methods and procedures are followed as well as optimized when necessary. The job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: • Maintaining a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the project • Ensuring that parts inventory is accurately recorded and captured • Monitoring and adjusting inventory to minimize obsolescence • Analyzing monthly expenses and inventory levels to maintain optimal cost efficiency • Monitoring and managing the purchasing of parts, supplies and materials • Ensuring a timely turnaround of parts requests throughout the project • Coordinating and monitoring the effective supply and delivery of parts to the end-user • Ensuring that all purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made • Designing and implementing effective systems to enhance the supply of parts to sites • Providing administrative and technical direction to all parts personnel • Actively seeking out new vendors, suppliers and manufactures and negotiate terms and pricing • Compiling accurate Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports as required As the position is located in Afghanistan, you will be living on site working on a rotational basis with 3 annual vacations.
