Department:
The EIT is responsible for creating, implementing and sustaining a world-class service provision and agile development capability to facilitate the ambitious growth and business transformation agenda of the Al-Futtaim Group across all geographies. This covers Business Application Management, Infrastructure & Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Service Management, Information Security, IT Procurement and IT Governance. EIT also manages and innovates the entire life-cycles of a SAP ERP system for amongst others Automotive, Retail, Real Estate and Financial Services including development, selective outsourcing and application management. The Group Infrastructure includes data centers hosting state of the art servers & storage, converged networks, workplace, services and security systems. This position reports to Service Transition Manager within Infrastructure and Operations
Position:
* Using expert knowledge of ITIL V3 Service Transition to define and implement processes across all IT project and BAU changes and ensuring high quality implementations that will meet the business expectations from live services.
* Manage and coordinate activities during overall Change life cycle for projects and RFCs.
* Create a roadmap for continuous improvement processes initiatives to strengthen the existing inherent capabilities of EIT.
* To ensure any program change risks or issues are highlighted in good time to the appropriate boards.
* To ensure the delivery of any allocated project change management requirements and Chair Change Advisory Board meetings (CAB).
* Define and create monthly Change report for all business verticals and internal I&O teams.
* Define, measure and manage Change management KPIs for the organisation
* Coordinates all activities and all testers during each testing phase of a project or program
* Co-operates with clients/users and senior staff as required to agree the testing strategy to be employed for development projects.
* Utilizes testing knowledge and experience to assess and advise on the practicality of testing process alternatives.
* Ensures that any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and the UAT test plan are clearly documented and described to the clients/users and colleagues
* Takes responsibility for all phases of testing and the management of the testing activities within a development project.
* Plans or oversees the planning of the system and acceptance tests and coordinates the execution of these plans.
* Takes responsibility for early life-cycle validation and verification.
* Takes responsibility for the production and approval of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during a project.
* Internal Procedures and Mapping
* Document Testing process in order to standardise work procedures and maintain consistency.
* Improve and streamline UAT Test cases and reports to raise testing awareness and improve service delivery.
* Facilitate CAB and conduct Risk Analysis for all new and changed service.
* Ensure to keep abreast with all new testing procedures that are being implemented within the organisation
