1 x Storekeeper
5 x Labour
The Main Purpose of the role:
• Ensure stocks are fresh
• Provide correct quantity to production
• Liaise with Procurement and Suppliers to ensure steady flow of products
The main areas of responsibility:
• Receive sales forecast on a Wednesday
• Enter items in to a spreadsheet which shows product breakdown
• Break this down in to daily delivery
• Maintain stock cards to monitor flow
• Store products in raw cooler area and dispatch area
Dimensions of the Job (targets):
• Ensure production has correct quantity for production
• Ensure invoices are given to Accounts
Department interaction:
• Finance
• Procurement
• Sales
Flexibility in having to carry out a range of different tasks:
• Has set tasks on set days - not flexible
Work allocation, review and approval:
• Work allocated through weekly sales forecast
• Production Manager Reviews
• Supply Chain Manager approves work
Decision making authority:
• Make decisions on what products to dispose of and how
Unusual features of the job:
• Exposure to cold temperatures in Production Area
