Architect Engineer - Ewaan Feb 5th 2013, 10:08 The Architect / Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the A/E consultant is on track and is performing as per the agreed terms and specification. ► Assist the Design & Studies Manager in selecting the A/E consultant and ensure adding the best value to Ewaan. ► Assist and support the Design & Studies Manager in all activities associated with the design development process with regards to the architectural requirements. This will require involvement in all design stages in order to manage the project properly and ensure delivering it successfully. ► Assist the Design & Studies Manager in reviewing the deliverables of the A/E consultancy firm/agency with regards to the architectural requirements, this may include (but is not limited to):  Perspective sketches  Large scale plans, sections and elevations of all major spaces  Site plans including all utilities  Floor plans  Ceiling plans  Elevations and wall sections specifying materials, dimensions and the method of exterior wall assembly  Other related architectural requirements ► Provide the Marketing & Sales department with technical and operational support in all activities associated with the market research & studies process and related to the architectural requirements. This may include (but is not limited to):  Feasibility study results  Concept design options  Other related activities ► Provide the Procurement & Contracts Management section with technical and operational support in all activities associated with the contracts tendering & planning process and related to the architectural requirements. This may include (but is not limited to):  Updating the tendering document (RFQ/RFP/Bid Document)  Reviewing received quotations/proposals  Other related activities ► Provide the Project Management section with technical and operational support in all activities associated with the project construction process and related to the architectural requirements. This may include (but is not limited to):  Material change requests  Disputes and claims  Quality review and control  Other related activities ► Ensure that the drawings are within the municipality conditions and fulfill the project needs.
