Our client, an environment friendly technology is currently seeking to recruit Geophysical Surveyor - Offshore DutiesResponsibilities Operates and maintains high-resolution geophysical and oceanographic survey equipment installed on rigs, barges and vessels. Equipment will be used for data acquisition and surveying in the marine environment. Load and install geophysical and navigation equipment on vessels of opportunity for data acquisition and surveys. Operate and maintain geophysical equipment, assist in the quality control of navigation and geophysical data collection. Report to supervisor when data acquisition goes minimum threshold. Follow procedures to remedy data quality. Competent PC literacy (word processing and spreadsheet software), maintain and update field logs. Participate in on the job training, safety meetings and drills. Be capable of adapting to changing working environments. Follow all company HSE policies. Comply with all tasks assigned by supervisors and managers Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of Positioning Services both onshore and offshore. Ensure that all operational functions are performed in a safe and cost effective manner. Minimise departmental exposure to risk.
