Primary Purpose of Job:
The IT Manager is responsible for performing business needs assessment and ensuring that servers, systems, internal business applications, and telecommunications capabilities within the organization are aligned with operational needs and customer requirements.
Principal Accountabilities:
▪ Perform systems and business analysis.
▪ Understand business processes and able recognize and recommend customizations to meet/ improve the company's operations.
▪ Set up and carry out timelines and deadlines necessary to complete the conversion efficiently and accurately.
▪ Supervise programmers and other staff.
▪ Lead the ERP project and coordinate with ERP Project Manager to ensure successful implementations.
▪ Standardize technologies and platforms used in the Company's operations regionally.
▪ Lead the IT team in identifying new technologies and solutions for Company consideration and adoption.
▪ Manage the department's budgets, personnel and assets.
▪ Lead the design phase; design of N-Tier, Secure, and Multi-channel Web enterprise solutions, develop technical risk mitigation plans, and direct proof of concepts with formalized documentation.
▪ Responsible for programming and web development.
▪ Lead and control IT initiatives.
▪ Optimize existing technologies used by the group to provide the optimum service to departments in the group.
▪ Handle and fix any system hardware and software problems.
▪ Determine and write standards and procedures for technical functions.
▪ Assist in the establishment and implementation of tactical and strategic plans for IT; assist in the development and management of associated budgets.
▪ Ensure security and business continuity process frameworks are followed.
▪ Direct and plan appropriate training and usage of installed software and hardware.
▪ Remain informed of the most current IT trends and technology.
