About This Job:
Apply HS&E ‘Best Practice’ at all project sites, in line with Client and BHI Management Systems.
Ensure coherent HS&E approach by all contracted parties operating in the project – manage application of the Project HS&E interface.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Supporting the implementation of BHI HS&E Standards and Policies at both facilities, well site and filed location
Routinely engage with Managers, Supervisors and Employees to explain the requirements of HS&E Management System
Serving as HSE advisor, facilitator and primary resource to the operation managers and support staff,
Support in achieving the country’s HSE initiatives & Plans
Development and over-sight of HSE Programs as required by BHI HSEMS, OGP, OSHA, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 and other industry standards applicable to the scope of operations activities,
Conducting workplace HSE inspections and audits,
Conducting Rig site & field HSE visits to support field operations,
Monitoring compliance and ensuring renewal of Environmental Permitting, Hazardous Waste Programs, and other regulatory systems,
Generating and submitting required reports as dictated by customers and regulatory bodies
Supporting Training Programs, including employee competency, TDG, HSE orientations, development of training materials, etc,
Facilitate contractor management programs at each facility,
Support incident review process, including causal analysis and corrective action tracking,
Supporting the development and implementations of local HSE programs, Hazard Assessments and associated Training Material,
Support HSE town hall meetings and staff Safety Meetings at both facilities as required
Conduct facility specific HSE training for new hires,
Conduct instructor led HSE trainings and refreshers,
Perform local HSE review for new Product Maintenance Requests,
Support and coordinate implementation of enterprise wide operational controls,
Serve as the HSE reviewer for Management of Change and Pre-start-up safety reviews
Assist in implementing shared HS&E programs and initiatives.
Essential Qualifications / Requirements:
BSC, BE Graduate Engineer with HSE Certifications (NEBOSH)
Minimum Experience of 7+ Years in the Relevant Field
Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:
Thorough understanding of regulations and the regulatory process.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
Strong presentation skills.
