EMPLOYMENT STATUS
Rotational Position based in Basrah – Iraq
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Develops new solution products.
· Supervises a group, department, or project.
· Participates in cross-divisional marketing.
· Leads negotiations of complex contracts or tenders.
· Works with the Technology or Marketing group in the development of new services.
· Promotes business development and technical sales efforts.
· Sets product quality guidelines.
· Provide Geoscience input to multi-disciplinary projects, from frontier exploration through discovery appraisal to field development and production.
· Perform Geoscience interpretation and analysis using appropriate, state-of-the-art techniques to provide Best In Class solutions for the client.
· Present data, interpretations, and reports to clients either individually or as part of the larger project team.
· Advise clients on Geosciences matters and provide solutions.
· Participate in training programs as a content developer and/or instructor.
Education/Experience/Training:
· Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience or related earth science discipline plus 9 years of experience as Sr Geoscientist.
· MSc. with 7 years experience or PhD with 5 years experience.
Extensive experience in Geoscience (Minimum 15 years)Skills/Knowledge:
· Proficient in managing staff and/or projects.
· Understanding of internal accounting procedures and BHI legal compliance.
· Expert knowledge of new formation evaluation technologies.
· Significant knowledge of products from other BHI divisions.
· Expert knowledge within his/her discipline and ability to converse at a strategic planning level with others and is pursuing advanced certification.
