Operation Manager ( Infrastructure & Road ) - MASCO Feb 4th 2013, 06:34 Operations Manager required for control and overseeing all logistics and resource issues related to large infrastructure and construction projects, and to effectively lead the project control function at a companywide level, possessing a broad knowledge of project controls concepts and principles and apply them as appropriate based on sound judgment and experience. Understands and applies financial terminology and measures. Responsibilities will include all manpower, plant, equipment and materials scheduling and provision to support the project management teams for multi large infrastructure and construction projects. Working closely with the project controls team to develop an overall schedule for manpower, equipment and materials. Optimize manpower, equipment and material allocation, availability and usage between various projects. Will serve in a project review capacity as required to assist project teams to achieve project objectives. Works with management to correctly identify staffing needs. Ensures that employee performance issues are documented and addressed. Willing to assume mentoring and training role. Extracts, analyzes, and reports on meaningful data from automated systems. Investigates programmatic causes of variances between estimated, committed and actual amounts and recommends solutions or recovery plans. Prepares and maintains accurate schedules, compliant estimates, and budgets for all projects. Prepares issues and maintains project cost and scheduling reports too, as part of the overall EVM system .
