On behalf of our international client, one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the Oil & Gas, petrochemical, power and water sectors in the GCC, we require an Project Manager Instrumentation to be based in their busy Qatar projects.
The main objective of this position is to plan, organize and control all activities related to assigned projects including budgets, manpower, equipment and material in order to meet deadlines and satisfy customer requirements.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Reviewing the assigned project contracts
2. Reviewing the projects schedules
3. Reviewing the contract budget costs
4. Ensuring that the project remains on schedule and within or below the budget costs
5. Preparing the schedule of materials to be purchased for projects on hand
6. Coordinating with clients to ensure that their requirements are met and to maintain good relationships.
7. Contributing in the preparation of tender estimates.
8. Reviewing all project requirement and project correspondence
9. Reviewing manpower and equipment needs and ensuring that they are in line with the approved budget.
10. Reporting on any discrepancies that rise and preparing variation request if any to the client.
11. Coordinating with other departments such as admin, procurement, planning and cost control etc. for project management
