The Role:
We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible to dentify potential opportunities to increase workshop revenue and manage the development of new system and process to tap the potential available.
He should liaise with the Principles to develop, implement and improve upon the Dealer standards at all service locations and be a market leader in the region. To identify areas of improvement in facility, layout, comfort, system and operations and suggest and implement changes required to achieve higher dealer standards and customer satisfaction. To liaise with location managers to identify requirement of tools, equipments and solutions that will improve the productivity of the workshop. To conduct in-house trainings for service staff on standard service transactions. To develop and implement programs to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
This role has also the following direct responsibilities:
* To introduce new business opportunities by conducting regular survey of the market and competitor's workshop, study and develop best industry practices in house.
* To identify lost sale by regularly auditing the service orders of each location to monitor the jobs that are not approved, identify the reason, suggest action plan and implement a system in conjunction with location manager.
* To audit dealer standards by conducting regular audits with Manufacture's representative at major locations and independently at minor location. Prepare action plan in consultation with location managers and monitor progress.
* To closely work with location Service Manager on developing, implementing and improving on the Standard service transaction defined by Honda.
* To develop and implement systems for motivating the team members to increase their engagement levels through training & development and regular meetings
* To assess and recommend the requirement of Facility, manpower and Equipment in anticipation of the future business requirement.
* To monitor CSV improvements by monitoring scores and identifying areas of improvement and implementing action plan in conjunction with location service manager.
* To improve customer retention by monitoring service coverage ratio every month. Suggest and implement programs to improve coverage percentage in conjunction with Service Operation Manager and National Service Manager.
