Supply Chain Manager - Manpower Middle East Feb 24th 2013, 12:19 Our client is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager to be based in Riyadh. You will be directly reporting to the Supply Chain DirectorJOB PURPOSE To develop and manage the steps that comprise the supply chain process planning, development, manufacturing, logistics and distribution.Main Responsibilities and TaskMain responsibilitiesDirects the process of Supply Chain Management.Ensures that the supply chain is efficient, on time and cost effectiveMain tasks1) Follows the agreed standard and terms of the supply chain management processes and the required SOPs.2) Communicates and folllows-up needs, objectives and timing required to key personnel in production, logistics and distribution to make the process run smoothly.3) Works with sales team to produce an accurate estimate of the sales volumes and budget.4) Ensures sales forecast on monthly basis and follows-up sales activities.5) Establishes the list of product prices then sends it to head of supply chain managementVP for approval.6) Plans delivery timetables in order to dispatch the products to customers on time.7) Directs the movement and processing of inventory.8) Oversees warehousing practices to ensure appropriate handling of commodities.9) Deals with customers' complaints and requirements.10) Builds and maintains excellent relationships with customers.11) Continually reviews and improves the supply network in order to increase productivity and to reduce costs.12) Be updated and follows the processes, regulations and packaging requirements related to the country.13) Follows-up with finance for orders (letters of credits, prepayments, cheques) and customer's commissions.14) Ensures frequent reporting on current orders status and pricing analyses to VP.15) Manages and develops staff.
