Office Base: Abu Dhabi

Job Purpose:

To help grow the region's business and create a broad portfolio of successful contracts which contribute successfully towards increasing the organisation's reputation, longer term funding streams, and financial growth. To take key responsibility for supporting and leading on the development of new client relationships and strategic partnerships.

Job Objectives

• Manage regional tendering processes and bid qualification procedures;
• Project management of bids, to include leading on sections of bids as assigned and coordinate the contributions of others;
• Maintain a good and up to date knowledge of trends, current developments, policy changes and competitor activity in the region;
• Support the organization of business development activity across the region and work with the regional head of Business Development to implement the regional objectives for business and reputational growth;
• Maintain strong relationships with the broader organization's business development and international development teams, as well as the research portfolio to ensure synergy and the best use of resources and intelligence to secure effective projects in region;
• Contribute towards the bidding for new contracts and the strengthening of regional partnerships and links with potential partner organizations in order to strengthen our offer and to attract new clients;
• Lead on researching new markets and clients and contribute towards the development of an effective and well maintained client relationship management strategy;
• Contribute towards the development and presentation of innovative proposals for new work and towards the writing and production of responses to RfPs;
• Support the establishment of networks of contacts, advisers, sponsors and partners in existing, new and developing markets;
• Provide leadership in promoting the organization's regional brand and values and supporting the development of an effective marketing strategy;
• Maintain a good and up to date awareness of operational contracts, research projects and their publications, and business development activity across the organization to enable the regional team to maximize knowledge, experience and resource; and
• Represent the organization at meetings, conferences and other events as required.
