Claims Manager, Property / Engineering / Casualty - Tawuniya Mar 22nd 2013, 06:06 Job Purpose: To manage and supervise all aspects related to processing and settlement of P & C Property / Engineering and Casualty Claims in accordance with CMS level of authority and procedures in order to achieve CMS defined objectives. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Manage and control the outstanding and settled claims related to Property / Engineering and Casualty and ensure to keep the right balance between the mn off Deviation, Average Run off and settlement ratio. 2. Review and ensure implementation and compliance of CMS policies, procedures, services standards and manuals to ensure full regulatory compliance. 3. Follow up on FAC reinsurance recoveries and Treaty Cash Calls and Loss Notification with local and international Brokers and Reinsurers. 4. Manage the ongoing performance of Property /Engineering and Casualty Loss Adjusters, Marine surveyors, Average Adjusters, Recovery Agents, Salvers, Settlement Agencies and ensure that their services are carried out in timely manner with a high degree of professional competences and integrity and in cost effective way. 5. Coordinate with Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager to develop Control Risk Self Assessment (CRSA) profile for Marine / Aviation and Energy to ensure risks are identified and controlled. 6. Prepare periodical claim statistics related to Property 1 Engineering and Casualty claims to identify trends of claims, causes of losses and recommend remedial actions. 7. Establish and liaise with the Tawuniya internal Departments, Local and International Brokers, Reinsurers, Law firms, Loss adjusters. Forensic expertise.. etc to ensure efficient and effective claims process regarding all aspects related to accounts, technical enquiries, recoveries, outstanding claims and special settlement ..etc. 8. Manage and control application of audit recommendations and response to auditors.
