- Engage in a variety of tasks that may include but not be limited to project management, coordination, strategic planning, relationship management, negotiation, leadership and innovative development of opportunities keeping record of transaction of sale and purchase goods.
- Responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of Action Sales Plan.
- Responsible for working with clients to identify their needs and work out how the company can best meet those requirements.
- Manage a single account or multiple accounts depending on the size of the organization.
- Identify potential new clients and business opportunities and to persuade new customers to place business with the company, might have responsibility for an account at national level or at global level.
- Generate and maintain a credible forecast for accounts and territories and provide this information on a regular basis to Senior Management.
- Use CRM tools to facilitate multiple aspects of sales cycle.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for technical and business issues for those accounts and territories assigned.
- Work with Support Engineers on all technical issues.
- Deal with all aspects of a campaign.
- Use an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business Leading and training other members of the account team.
- Manage the work of account executives.
- Lead project management activity.
- Ensure necessary actions are undertaken by the account team.
- Building a 'territory'.
- Achieve sales targets.
- Deliver sales presentations to high-level executives.
- Be able to personally conduct a basic product demonstration (hardware and software).
- Attend client meetings.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients.
