Review manpower requirement (annual or based on contingencies) based on expected stock levels / receipts.
Justify the plan with the head and finalise the manpower plan in order to for the staff the parts warehouse with the appropriate manpower.Analyze expenses ( fuel consumption, manpower, vehicle maintenance costs etc).
Identify potential areas for cost control.
Monitor Budget vs actuals.Take corrective actions.
Provide inputs for the budgeting process in order to adhere to operational budgets in the parts warehouse.
Monitor on-time inbound GRs.
Provide resources, direction etc for resolving any deviations. Verify adherence to binning productivity norms.
Direct compliance to processes.
Coordinate with procurement and inbound supervisors for resolving issues (such as packing, damages etc) in order to meet operational norms on efficiency and requirements of parts customer.
Monitor SLA adherence on parts order fulfillment (Group & domestic sales); Review reports on SED; Approve insurance claims; Intervene in escalated cases on issues related to inbound, transit, SED.
Identify root cause for such issues. Direct corrective actions; Coordinate with Group Sales / Domestic sales Dept.
Understand their perspective & explain own position;
Explore alternative ways to resolve issues.
Re-prioritise and re-schedule order fulfillment.
Direct logistics for dispatch of parts.
Resolve issues related to dispatch in order to efficiently deliver parts for Group Sales.Review daily and monthly branch reports (covering process adherence, deliveries etc).
Understand any critical / escalated issues.
Provide assistance, resources and support for resolving matters; Organise for internal audits.Analyse the audit findings.
Track resolution of NCs; Provide guidance on NC closure; Provide reports to Audit function; Monitor the accurate updation of systems in order to efficiently run branch operations.
Monitors inventory variance and takes corrective action, if necessary.
Reviewing internal audit reports, warehouse branch operational report;
Identify issues; Drive corrective actions in order to adhere to processes set for branch operations.
Understand the issues in organising logistics and distribution operations (especially with drivers);
Negotiate between drivers & supervisors; Resolve issues; Approve new shuttles & routes.
Coordinate and provide resources for meeting exigencies in order to efficiently meet delivery commitments.
Analyse reports on Physical Inspection & reconciliation statements;
Guide resolution of discrepancies.
Conduct a RCA; Identify other opportunities for process. improvement (cycle times, costs, productivity etc).
Guide the re-design of processes.
Organise and guide GEMBA teams.
Verify implementation of improvement actions in order to reduce stock discrepancies in parts inventory.
Carry out physical inspection of all civil, electromechanical equipments on periodic basis.
Create work schedule for housekeeping team; Deploy team & inspect cleanliness.
Co-ordinate with civil department for repair of civil / electrical works in order to maintain upkeep of warehouse infrastructure. Monitor Over-Time & productivity of staff.
Gather feedback on employee issues.
Take corrective actions.
Set KPI / KRAs for team.
Recommend performance rating and increments.
Nominate people for training.
Resolve administrative issues and grievances of employees. Implement employee engagement improvement actions.
Guide GEMBA / Kaizen activities in order to build a motivated and productive team in Parts distribution.
Take up projects required to enhence space, space utimisation, KPI improvement and SLA deliverables. Take up management approval with cost benefit analysis.
