General Manager - N/A Mar 21st 2013, 07:38 The business is a ground handling joint venture company employing approximately 300 employees in a busy Middle Eastern airport. We are seeking expressions of interest from executives who possess extensive general management and airport operations experience. Most importantly candidates must have demonstrable leadership qualities and a record of success in the aviation industry, along with energy and commercial acumen to ensure the highest possible service standards are met. Position: Reporting to a Board of Directors, the role will lead the management of a ground handling business in a Middle Eastern Airport. Accountabilities will include: delivering a safe, secure, and customer focused ground handling service in accordance with group policies and procedures and the requirements of client airlines; developing and delivering the business strategy; setting and achieving budgetary, financial and business growth targets in conjunction with the Board of Directors and group head office. Developing and managing relationships with government, airport authorities, border agencies and other relevant regulatory authorities while also managing the entire team.
