CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/COMBINED CYCLE POWER PROJECT - Arabian Bemco Contracting Co. Apr 4th 2013, 08:41 Responsibilities: • Execution of the electromechanical work on time and within budget. • Coordinate with all electrical and mechanical site activities under his responsibilities. • Provide leadership and supervision of his site management team, work and subcontractors. • Mobilization and demobilization. • Planning and scheduling short and long term site activities utilizing the construction schedule and related documents. • Monitoring progress and assuring that all schedule milestones are achieved. • Maintaining a proper document control system. • Assuring compliance with all company administrative procedures. • Monitoring construction costs and acting to assure that the project stays in budget. • Enforces all safety plans and regulations to achieve high quality work place conditions - avoid lost time accidents and injuries and maintain a highly professional company image. • Achieving the highest quality workmanship and end product utilizing and enforcing quality assurance / control programs. • Reports to and closely coordinates with the Project Manager on daily basis to assure a smooth flow of all project related operations and activities. • Detects and reports all site variations to the Project Manager and provide the necessary documentation to support the preparation of claims • Deals with all local authorities. • Handles all labor relations. • Organizes and leads the testing and commissioning teams through start up, testing, balancing and hand over of all systems under his responsibility. • Secures timely payment certifications. • Motivates and regularly evaluates his subordinates.
