Property:
Our Property division manages all aspects of Alshaya's 2500 store retail property portfolio from our 70+ brands and 19 countries. The property division is split into 3 areas, Real Estate, Project Management & Facilities Management (FM).
They have regular reviews on store performance and drives real estate portfolio maximizations to ensure it meets the companies and brand expectations in regard to quality and profitability.
With 450 new stores opened in 2012 and with 425 new stores and 400 refurbishments planned for 2013 the work is fast-paced and dynamic. The team structure is split by region, ensuring your exposure across a number of international blue chip brands.
The Role:
The Project Manager is responsible for the store development component of the Retail Property function and oversees a project team including Auto CAD staff. You will ensure that all store development projects are performed within budget, timeframe and quality standards across new store and refurbishment projects
* Create, share and present periodic project reports and progress updates to a broad senior stakeholder group.
* Oversee and manage contract and supplier organizations working on Alshaya projects.
* Build strong relationships with host brands and internal stakeholders to ensure store layouts and store opening plans are accurate with requirements and expectations managed.
* Manage and develop a project team, adopt a mentor role, increase team and individual performance and execute store development projects through the team.
* Allocate and advise Country Project Managers on new developments within their respective regions.
