About Your Job:
In this role, the Crew Communications Officer is entrusted with ensuring that both Flight and Cabin Crew have access to a range of internal communications to keep them apprised of all leave and crew scheduling related activities. This role provides the candidate the opportunity to have an impact through promoting proactive multipath communication channels; informing and assisting in the leave bidding process and coordinating activities surrounding special projects. Close liaison with the Crew Help Desk is an important part of this role as is providing day to day operational and crew statistics support to Flight and Cabin Crew management.
About You:
To be successful in this role you must have a minimum of 5 years airline experience in Flight Operations, with a relevant tertiary qualification. Experience in Crew Resources, training, marketing or a customer care role is desirable. Proven ability to work constructively within a small team. Able to communicate well with a range of different people. Innovative and ceative. Good project management skills. Accuracy and a good eye for detail. An ability to explain complex details. Advanced level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills. Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken). Other languages may be an advantage.
