Mechanical Workshop Supervisor - Rafic Ghazzaoui May 17th 2013, 05:05  Provide technical assistance to both Pumps BU unit team and customers. Customer Relations Management  In all interactions with third parties and existing customers, promotes the image of the company by demonstrating professionalism, reliability and technical knowledgeableness, and upholds the high standards of the company. After Sales  In coordination with Pumps BU Manager, investigate claims of factory defects, take appropriate steps to convey substantiated claims to suppliers and follow up until a satisfactory solution is reached.  Answer clients' requests for maintenance and repairs by dispatching technicians and/or proceeding in person when required, and ensure all technical standards and procedures are respected.  Coordinate with sales team concerning invoicing of maintenance or repair works, spare parts or re-sales (when applicable).  In coordination with Warehouse Manager, monitor stocks of spare parts, make timely requests for replenishments through Pumps BU Manager and participate in end of year inventory. Technical Team Management  Supervise indoor and outdoor technicians, provide technical direction and manage the development of the team.  Organize and monitor technicians' work, schedule site visits, maintenance and repair jobs, effectively utilizing each team member to his/her fullest potential.  Comply with and enforce all technical team's quality of work and service.  Facilitate team interaction with other units.  Evaluate competency and monitor performance of team members, and recommend training or appropriate measures.
