REPORTS TO: SUPPLY CHAIN GM

DEPARTMENT: LOGISTICS LOCATION: JEDDAH - HEAD OFFICE

ROLE & PURPOSE:
This position manages the day-to-day warehouses operational requirements/duties, including decision-making and enforcement of company policies, rules and regulations in addition to evaluating performance of all warehouse staff, suppliers, vendors, contractors, forwarders and brokers business related behaviors and providing assistant, help, education and training to all warehouse team.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehousing Management:
- Must be in total control of the entire warehouse operations
- Prepare and produce weekly reports for Current Inventory Value, Shortages, SKU shelf life, and Issues with Receiving/Shipping/Personnel etc
- Report KPI for warehousing operations
- Maintain standards and strive for service level improvements
- Make sure all company procedures and policies are applied in facilities
- Review suppliers, vendors, forwarder, and warehouse contractors performance
- Provide ongoing support and expertise for the operation of all departments
- Establish goals, meet commitments, and enforce policies.
- Manage inventory efficiencies, Health & Safety
- Provide training and handling of Goods
- Coordinate all transportation of goods in a timely, cost efficient manner.
- Strong experience in product quality, packaging, bar coding, and shipping of products.
- Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills
- Work to reduce turnaround time on customer orders and deliveries.
- Increase efficiencies in storage in the warehouse.
- Provide management with information analyses and statistical information along with graphical information reports.
- Troubleshooting systems deficiencies and operational bottlenecks
- Responsible for streamlining warehouse process and procedures continuously improving productivity, quality and cost. - Willingness to be hands on
- Strong forecasting skills for time, labors, tools and equipment
- Must be able to manage time, handle conflict and prioritize
- Leadership style: coaching approach and open communication. - Maximize existing work methods and integrate new ones
- Coordinating inbound and outbound shipment planning.
- Ensure full WMS/ERP system full utilization for all department members
- All other duties as assigned by management

2. Inventory management:
- Main responsible Ensure cost-effective inventory levels
- Monitoring the receipt of stocks, and checking the delivery invoices and items delivered for conformance with the purchase orders
- Tracing history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommending remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
- Studying stock records and recommending remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess or dead stock
- Investigating all product damage claims from the stores determining the source of the damage for the purpose of documenting in-transit damage and back-charging the dedicated carriage as appropriate.
- Update inventory reports and turns

3. Budget Management:
- To prepare warehouse budget in addition to maintaining budget figures as forecasted/planned
- Manage & report all departments KPI's and ensure to keep within Budget to achieve objectives on monthly basis
- Reduce Warehousing cost to impact on P & L
- Monthly performance measures against budget & net profit. 4. Staff Management and Development
- Actively ensure that SC process at acceptable levels of service and skills to achieve planned objectives for department.
- Lead direct reports - Warehouses supervisors
- Create and encourage the involvement of direct reports in decisions/actions of the department
- Co-ordinate, resource and manage staff training needs
- Problem solving (technical as well as human)
- Implement & respect company policies and procedures
- Work within authority level
