Quantity Surveyor - OMCI May 15th 2013, 05:47 1) Monitor the Cost aspects of the project, coordinates with contractors, track material ordering and receipts. 2) To work closely with Project Teams for Budget vs. Actual Cost. 3) To ensure that all Project Controls standards and procedures are adhered to whilst providing timely and accurate information to the project stakeholders. 4) Responsible for the cost analysis of various areas such as - construction planning, erection of structural, piping, heavy equipment, rotary machines and E&I / Civil work. 5) Compile and produce cost reports that are consistent with the cost coded budget. 6) Estimating the total cost at completion of the project and Review project's daily expenses and allocate them against proper cost codes. 7) Prepare the monthly labor performance report showing actual productivity analysis against budge. 8) Reconcile with Accounting section the balances of inventory items on site. 9) Prepare material wastage report and update cash flows. 10) Responsible, as and when required, for the Estimating of complete projects or individual elements within a major presentation, by application of recognised norms and databases. 11) In conjunction with other members of estimating team, to establish systems consistent with the requirements for efficient cost control and planning during the life of the project, and suitable for future data revival. 12) To liaise during the estimating phase between various members of the department and engineering disciplines to establish continuity and consistency. 13) To develop and present a professional estimate. 14) To read, understand and implement the company safety policy and the arrangements described in the company and area safety management system documents.
