Senior Network Security Officer - S.O.S. HR Solutions May 2nd 2013, 05:21 Responsibilities •Performing the security assessment of Network to ensure that implementation is performed in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and standards •Design Network Architecture from security point of view and provide a recommendations for implementation •Implement security solutions such as Endpoint security solutions, Firewalls, intrusion Prevent systems, Advance malware detection solutions, etc. •Monitor network for security related events, analyze the events, prioritize and initiate necessary actions by following incident management process •Conduct configuration and rule base review of Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention systems, Routers, Switches, etc. •Evaluate the encryption technologies being used and ensure that they are implemented in accordance with organizational policies •Work for the improvement of network security and application security in coordination with the specialized parties to assure the compliance •Developing and delivering security awareness programs •Getting the information on the latest releases related to network security and the follow-up of for implementation with specialized parties •Prepare needed policies, procedures and standards related to systems security •Ability to handle security projects from end-to-end independently •Work on other tasks assigned by the superiors Technical Skills Required •Experience in Developing, Implementing and OperatingNetwork Security Architecture and controls •Experience in security products like Antivirus, Anti-Spam, Internet Filtering, Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention, Web Application firewalls, SSL VPN, SIEM solutions, etc •Experience Conducting Risk assessments, Penetration Testing and compliance checks •Detailed understanding of networking concepts such as routing, switching, VLAN, traffic analysis, encryption methods, etc •Experience in implementing ISO27001 standards GeneralSkills Required •Serve as a trusted IT Security advisor to senior management bycommunicating the impact of technology risks and the approaches for mitigation •Ability to work on new unplanned task based on the immediate requirement •Work as team member in business related projects from the information security point of view •Provide training and awareness sessions to the staff Job Details Date Posted: 2013-05-02 Job Location: Al Kuwait, Kuwait Job Role: Technology/IT Company Industry: Banking Preferred Candidate Career Level: Mid Career Apply Now - Jobs in Kuwait - Search All Jobs
