Systems Security Officer - S.O.S. HR Solutions May 2nd 2013, 05:14 •Reviewand document users authorizations for systems and networks •Management of user authorizations, maintenance of users records, assuring the completeness of information and comparing the authorizations with the privileges •Study organizational security of systems to evaluate level of protection needed based on the importance to the business and implement controls accordingly •Work as team member in Access control management and analyze security violations, errors, unauthorized access •Conduct the security assessment of systems, application and networks to ensure that implementation is performed in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and standards •Prepare periodic reports on user authorizations, inactive users on various systems and present to the business owners •Prepare needed policies, procedures and standards related to systems security •Perform research on new security trends, technologies and the latest breaches and propose solutions to improve the level of security •Involve in the implementation of security solutions from end-to-end •Work on other tasks assigned by the superiors •Involvement in Information Security incident response procedures Technical Skills Required •Develop, Implement and maintain the Information Security Management Systems for the organization and developing reports for access controls. •Define access privileges,control structure and monitor the systems to ensure that appropriate access levels are maintained •Conduct Risk assessments, Penetration Testing, Application security assessments and compliance checks •A detailed understanding of ISO27001 •Ability develop security standards for operating systems and applications, conduct assessment of standards implementation General Skills Required •Serve as a trusted IT Security advisor to senior management in communicating the impact of technology risks and the approaches for mitigation •Provide training and awareness sessions to the staff •Ability to work on new unplanned task based on the immediate requirement •Work as team member in business related projects from the information security point of view Job Details Date Posted: 2013-05-02 Job Location: Al Kuwait, Kuwait Job Role: Technology/IT Company Industry: Banking Preferred Candidate Career Level: Mid Career Apply Now - Jobs in Kuwait - Search All Jobs
