Welding/Piping Inspector - Parsons International Limited May 18th 2013, 07:59 • Ensuring that quality is achieved and maintained in all aspects of the piping installations. • Ensuring piping systems are installed according to P&ID's and relevant line lists and specifications. • Witnessing pressure tests and welding ensuring compliance with specifications. • Overseeing the quality control measures. • Assisting the piping engineer for the compliance of codes and specifications. • Carrying out daily inspections of the piping works and sign off the relevant part of the contractor's RFIAs in a timely manner. • Assisting the contractors on technical matters related to the specifications. • Coordinating with other service before proceed the work to avoid the clashing. • Coordinating with Land surveyor for alignment and positioning of various piping installations. • Keeping comprehensive records of all piping inspection and surveillance work performed. • Reviewing contractors' quality control documentation that relates to the piping scope of work. • Reports directly to the piping engineer. • Enforcement of approved shop drawings and MAS.
