National Health Insurance Company
The National Health Insurance Company (NHIC) manages and operates Qatar's Social Health Insurance Scheme. The scheme will provide mandatory basic health insurance coverage for citizens, foreign residents and visitors in the country. The scheme represents an important pillar of Qatar's National Health Strategy ensuring affordable access to state-of-the-art healthcare for everyone in the country, driving transparency and quality improvement across the system and offering members free choice of providers. NHIC is looking for candidates with relevant expertise and experience to fill the following position.
Position : Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
§ Prepares detailed requirements (technical) and high level overviews of the gathered and refined data. Reviews the solution design against the requirements and advises on the degree of fit.
§ Supports decision making process by creating system architecture diagrams, process maps, info flow diagrams, etc.
§ Analyses, Evaluates and Documents the existing infrastructure and service environment (WAN).
§ Evaluates single services in detail (HW, SW, functionality) and creates brief and detailed descriptions of the interfaces.
§ Analyses and documents the overall information flow and creates process maps and data flow models.
§ Analyses the services in the process map regarding their criticality for the overall distributed environment.
§ Analyses processes and services reg. their access and data security, usability, failover capabilities and general resilience.
§ Evaluates the service environment regarding scalability and failover capabilities.
§ Manages the process of gathering information from technical counterpart at the departments and institutions involved.
§ Creates projections of expected network and system load regarding network bandwidth, storage capabilities and service response time.
§ Reflects the high level (business) system requirements in per-service requirements definitions of service functionality, data responsibility, and resource requirements (KPIs like response time, availability etc.)
§ Manages and oversees the requirements and implementation of Disaster Recovery infrastructure and Procedures
§ Closely interacts with the Business Analyst (Information/Process) in matters of internal coordination and transition of Business Requirements into process and service requirements
§ Creates and maintains organization charts and contact information for the involved internal external counterparts along with their technical function and service- process and data responsibilities
§ Evaluates and verifies that the systems technology infrastructure standards meet and adhere to the standards set forth by the State of Qatar's Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology.
