BRIEF:
The main tasks for this position are developing, implementing, monitoring cost control mechanisms for the contracts including financial statements, document control procedures, reviewing and verifying all contract documentation, preparing responses to contractual correspondences received from stakeholders and third parties. Responsible for the overall control on contracts management and acting as Secretary role to the General Tender Committee.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the preparation and finalization of contracts ensuring the company's interests are safeguarded.
Develop contract policy including special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedures.
Advise business units/departments regarding contract procedure, company policies standards, standards, general principles to be adopted strategies of packaging of scopes of work, time scales and priorities, types of contracts available, interpretation of company policy affecting contracts.
Attend General Tender Committee (GTC) meeting as secretary for the committee, documenting the meetings and in charge of all admonition activities of the committee.
Control and monitor contracts documentation process to ensure timely and coordinated submittal, and contract records and files are maintained documenting contract performance and compliance.
Understand and comply with governmental legal terms and policies.
Coordinates and assists line departments on contractual issues and resolve issues with contractors/ vendors.
Evaluates or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts and compliance to contractual obligations.
Approve or reject request for divisions form contract specifications and delivery schedules.
