As a B2 engineer you will be responsible for improving the overall aircraft performance and continued airworthiness by providing a front line review of fleet operational performance with an in depth technical recommendation on current and emergent aircraft/fleet issues. You will also be responsible for improving aircraft availability by providing continuous monitoring of aircraft fleet status, identification of fleet reliability and operational performance issues.
About You:
You must hold a recognised diploma in aircraft trade, be a holder of ICAO type 2 license (preferably EASA B2) and be a Licensed Engineer holding a minimum of one Qatar Airways aircraft type authorisations. (Preference will be given to engineers holding multiple Qatar Airways aircraft type authorisations.)
You will also have at least 4 years experience as approved Certifying Engineer on one or more Qatar Airways aircraft types, not including OJT. You must also be familiar with Maintenance Operation Control Centre environment, have detailed knowledge of aircraft maintenance fundamentals and company procedures, and a sound knowledge of air legislation.
