Manager Site Services Facilities Planning and Project Management
This position represents Boeing Site Services for all Real Property activity within the India, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific regions through management of employee s activities within the facilities planning, real estate transactions, and project management disciplines.
The manager interacts with internal and external customers and business partners concerning matters of significant importance to the Boeing Company including development of long and short range tactical plans (e.g., site, office, manufacturing, warehouse) with facilities options to satisfy multiple project objectives (e.g., cost, schedule, location, conceptual layout, process/people flow) and assessing resources (e.g., assets, space, budget, labor) in order to create the best value for the customer and the company.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.
• Establishes strong working relationships with peers and business partners.
• Presents to executive leadership to gain concurrence on strategy, tactics, funding and share project status.
• Management of regional transaction activity through third party service provider (CBRE).
• Provide oversight to minimize risk and meet enterprise objectives and ensuring financial and business terms/conditions minimize risk and meet enterprise objectives.
• Projects range from in-depth space planning studies, all real estate transactions including lease and purchase acquisitions, sub-lease, lease terminations and property dispositions.
• Provide oversight of transaction workflow, financial analysis, valuation studies and reporting for regional activities, office refurbishments, office closures, small office implementations while ensuring Boeing and local in-country security and safety initiatives/standards are met.
• Responsible for working closely with the well established Real Property, Legal and Supplier Management departments in the US and other Boeing and non-Boeing business partners and suppliers globally based.
• The Site Services team is looking for an experienced manager to lead, develop and strengthen its service delivery across the regions.
• Leading special projects and assignments in the regions that drive integration and continuous service delivery improvement for Boeing’s Shared Services Group (SSG) Site Services. Position may include other work responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Definition: The Boeing Company Shared Services Group (SSG) provides the Boeing Business Units and Corporate Offices with innovative and effective common services that support the competitive design and manufacture of aerospace and defense products. SSG includes Communication Services, Finance & Business Services, Human Resources & Employee Services, Site Services (facilities management) and Supplier Management.
• NOTE: Travel required. Desired position base is Dubai.
