QC Engineer Jul 22nd 2013, 04:11 We are a major EPC contractor in the Oil & Gas sector looking for a suitable candidate to QA/QC division in the company reporting directly to QA/QC Manager. Key Responsibilities 1. To ensure the project activity works as are as per the requirement. 2. To be based full-time at site unless attending factory inspections 3. To be fully aware of the project specifications and inspection requirement of the project & advise on ITP and testing methods 4. To coordinate for material submission and other necessary procedure of the project 5. To prepare appropriate testing procedures for inclusion in work method statement 6. To ensure agreed testing procedures are carried out as per requirement. 7. To ensure proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all testing equipment 8. To ensure all specified standards are available for reference and their requirements observed 9. To coordinate with NDT sub contractor for regular NDT activities of project 10. To Inspect the incoming materials from suppliers and main store 11. To report to the Project Manager or Project Engineer or Workshop-in-charge and QA Management Representative for any non-conformity.
