Senior Consultant (Chief Analyst) - Revenue Assurance - Roads and Transport Authority Jul 30th 2013, 18:23 Manage and oversee necessary analysis to develop the Revenue Assurance systems so as to accomplish all objectives in an effective, timely and efficient manner, to ensure that reported revenue is accurate and timely with appropriate analysis on trends, along with driving and implementing process/system changes that will enable more frequent and accurate revenue reporting. KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES • Develop accounting, financial management and revenue assurance policy to ensure accurate information for top management in decision making & to apply strict internal controls. • Monitoring the application of policies and procedures. • Update the revenue manual and procedures. • Develop measures to detect, isolate and quantify system problems contributing to the revenue losses. • Recommend preventive and corrective measures for agreement with and implementation by the relevant Agencies. • Monitor the progress and results of new measures and initiatives. • Identify and prioritize recovery opportunities. • Evaluate data to identify issues and to remove false positives. • Identify projects and opportunities in consultation in coordination with the Authority departments as well as the respective Agencies to help drive and monitor activities. • Analyze the monthly revenue report and prepare the required adjustment entry. • Participate in the RMS integration and its procedures. • Detect, prevent and investigate all forms of fraud. • Handle alarms, analyze trends in fraud and suggest amendments to the fraud detection policies. • Review and revise on existing policies and procedures to minimize fraud. • Participate in the preparation of the Revenue Budget for all Agencies. • Perform other related duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
