•Minimum of 7 years of experience in food technology and product development (including 3 years in a senior position) in a reputable industrial company. Experience in a multi-national company will be highly valued.
•High computer-literacy. Experience in working in computerized environment, with good knowledge in ERP packages, namely SAP QM & PP modules is highly valued.
•Ability to re-engineer the department, and establish systems and procedures.
•Ability to be fully involved in the strategic decision making of the company from a product development perspective, and in accordance to the company's general strategic objectives.
•Ability to understand the local taste and preferences of consumers, and ability to utilize scientific research to recommend optimum product formulation and cost savings programs.
•High level of consciousness in quality control and hygiene, and experience in food regulation and HACCP implementation.
•Excellent background in different types of foodstuff categories, such as pastries, vegetables, meats, poultry, seafood, cakes, honey, dairy, jams, etc., including experience in frozen, chilled, and ambient products.
•Experience in pastries is highly valued.
•Strong experience in different types of production lines. Also strong experience in raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, etc.
•Proven track record of product innovation and search and re-apply methods.
