Job Objective:
The Senior Auditor - Performance Assurance role is to lead a team on smaller assignments, or will undertake a work stream on large, complex projects, in conducting entity and program performance assessments and defining performance dashboards for the subject entities and produce draft reports and presentations and discuss findings with the team and clients.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
•Lead and coordinate the fieldwork team in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrate a sound level of technical, professional or specialist expertise.
•Conduct and review, when applicable, working papers.
• Identify performance improvement opportunities
•Data gathering within subject entities.
•Building productive and lasting relationships with subject entities at non-executive levels.
•Collaborating with IDO's departments to gather information and analysis on subject entities.
•Interview and gather data from Subject Entity (or Program) employees, middle management and other stakeholders Gather or document required organizational processes, capabilities, application of key technologies and performance measurements/ KPI's.
•Supporting performance assessments in compliance with PA methodologies and developing performance dashboards through research and analysis.
•Producing concisely written presentations and sections of the PA Final Reports.
•Develop, with minimal guidance, Excel based tools, templates and scorecards for use by Subject Entities and employ them in analysis.
•Contributing to the database of guidelines and best practices that can be adopted across a number of subject entities.
•Support development of whitepapers and practice guides by directing research, information analysis and reviewing sections of the whitepapers and practice guides, produce database of guidelines and best practices.
• Follow up with clients on remediation of actions coming out of issues identified during audits.
• Ad hoc work on firm wide projects around new processes or activities and investigation of incidents.
• Ongoing liaison with colleagues and external stakeholders including regulators
• Maintenance of internal client relationships and regular interaction with the business during the year to assess changes in the control environment and other matters arising in the business.
• Protects organization's reputation by keeping information confidential
