About Your Job:
Reporting to the Senior manager Cargo Services -QAS Cargo, you will manage Qatar Aviation Services NDIA integration and transition within agreed performance standards and financial targets. The NDIA performance is a strategic driver for transitional excellence and seeks to enhance and deliver best practice operational management and strategic change leadership to further support the network GHA -SLA capability.
You will also be responsible and accountable for the management of strategic cross functional utilization of resource. You will introduce standard efficiency and productivity process tools to enhance planning, steering and execution and ensure that all process steering demands are delievered on time within budget and within business objectives.
You will be making sure that all warehouse operational movements and handling are met within set standards and target KPI's optimizing and maximizing utilization of the facility, manage and monitor build up and break down, handling, storage, racking, cargo dispatch and delivery are in accordance to the local government.
About You:
To join our 5-star team in this role you will need a Bachelors degree or equivalent. You will need to be an expert in the field with a minimum of 7 years job related experience. You should have strong managerial skills including strong coaching and mentoring skills with an ability to train and develop subordinate skills.
Good analytical and decision making skills is desired. You should be aware of change management and process developement techniques. You should be a change agent who is result oriented who can deliver innovative execution at pace who understands the high value of high customer service delivered within a cost conscious culture. You should be fluent in spoken and written english.
It will be preferred if you have the proven ability to use Microsoft Office suite of applications which includes VBA at advanced level.
You are a self-starter with high energy levels and the ability to work in a high pressure environment. You will be a strong people manager with excellent communication skills in English.
