About the Job:
We are looking for a Technical Executive, System Applications to join our Customer Service Operations Technical team in Dubai.
* Applicant is required to be familiar with Automotive Aftersales IT applications and Business needs with an awareness and interest in Automotive Distributor Aftersales and Technical matters from an IT perspective.
* Applicant must have experience in IT and heavy computer and systems development experience ie; SAP, AS400, web based, MIS, etc.
* Technical Executive, System Applications is based in Customer Service Operations - Technical Division in Jebel Ali.
* He / she is expected to proactively support, lead and coordinate activity relating to CSO-TD Aftersales systems development by working with EIT Development partners, specifying and capturing requirements and overseeing project development of CSO-TD IT projects as they arise.
* Steady state the Technical Executive, System Applications will effectively manage, service and support all CSO-TD systems including; TECDB, AFM Technical Intranet, TSIN and TGEMs, user set up and management, TSI Branch Connectivity, access and usage issues, Global Techstream bug reporting and sw installation support to Branch users.
* Technical Executive, System Applications will also operate TEC the Technical Experience Contact Center by the following: When support is needed from a Branch technical person a Service Manager, Foreman, Master Diagnostician, Technical Advisor or Team Leader may contact TEC to open a TEC case and NTL support will be coordinated via TEC and the TECDB and system processes.
* Technical Executive, System Applications plays a key role in ensuring that existing CSO-TD hardware, applications and systems are always functional and professionally operating for Branch and Corporate users as well as play a lead role in identifying new hardware and developing emerging Aftersales CSO-TD IT needs and projects.
The Technical Executive, System Applications must be able to work independently and as part of a team. He/she must have strong IT, analytical and MIS skills. The Technical Executive, System Applications will also manage the day to day IT business needs for CSO-TD. This position may require rotational and/or shared duties with other CSO-TD technical roles within the AFM CSO-TD.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Become subject matter expert for all CSO-TD IT systems and applications as well as primary interface to EIT
* Develop current and future CSO-TD systems and IT needs
* Support Branch Network Scantool hardware
* Continuously groom the TECDB for valid repair instances to be purposed as known good fixes for rapid repair advice to Branch.
* Manage TEC (Technical Experience Contact Center)
* Calandarize and coordinate NTL activity and Branch support using the TECDB IT resource and the TEC process
* Provide lateral support to TOYOTA / LEXUS Customer Relations staff for CSO-TD systems issues as needed
