An experienced Enterprise Architecture professional (Assistant Vice-President) is sought on a full time permanent basis by one of the leading banks in UAE. This role reports directly into the VP, Head of Information & Security Enterprise Architecture within the organization. Criteria: - The nature of the role is such that it requires a confident and slick personality who is adept at internal and external stakeholder management. The right candidate will be assertive and diplomatic at the same time; able to develop rapport upwards, downwards and laterally; as well as being competent in selling concepts to his / her specific audience. To put into context, the above is required to be executed across a very large bank, with sizeable headcount and multiple divisions, geographies and layers of management. - You will need to have extensive experience in both Infrastructure Architecture and Application Architecture. However, the weightage is at least 60/40 tilted towards Application Architecture. - Absolutely crucial to the role is your ability to "think latest architecture" when it comes to proposing strategy and solutions. This role is a proactive one requiring you to formulate future strategy and therefore you need to be acutely aware and have your finger on the pulse of the latest happenings in the world of enterprise architecture. - You will ideally have all the above experience within a banking or financial services background, however even some exposure to these industries will suffice.
